SIFE Students in Free Enterprise, Toledo-area and Findlay-area Campuses --

SIFE is a global non-profit organization active in more than 40 countries. SIFE is funded by financial contributions from corporations, entrepreneurs, foundations, government agencies and individuals. Working in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE establishes student teams on university campuses. These teams are led by faculty advisors and they are challenged to develop community outreach projects that reach SIFE's five educational topics: Market Economics, Success Skills, Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, and Business Ethics.

KBD Kappa Beta Delta Business Honor Society --

The purposes of this Society are to encourage and recognize scholarship and accomplishment among students of business, management and administration pursuing associate degrees, and to encourage and promote personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind.

PTK Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society --

The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence


InfraGard is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the private sector. InfraGard is an association of businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States. InfraGard Chapters are geographically linked with FBI Field Office territories.


The International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP®) offers top-notch resources to help administrative professionals enhance their skills and become more effective contributors to their employers

IMA - Institute of Management Accountants

The student chapter of the international organization, Institute of Management Accountants, provides a channel of communication between students and the accounting professional community through various activities. The activities include monthly meetings, professional events, professional education, attending Toledo IMA chapter meetings and attending regional and national conferences. Through these interactions with the accounting professionals, Owens students have opportunities for networking, which may lead to future internships and possibilities of full time employment. Owens students can also apply for scholarships offered by IMA. Owens IMA student Chapter operates closely with the Toledo IMA Chapter.

American Marketing Association Collegiate Membership --

Collegiate membership is for full-time students only, who are not employed full-time. Annual dues are $42, which includes a subscription to Marketing News (8 issues per year).
