ACBSP - The Association of Collegiate Schools and Programs

Owens Community College Division of Business and Public Service Associates of Business Degrees are fully accredited by ACBSP - The Association of Collegiate Schools and Programs.

 

Mission

The mission of ACBSP is to establish, promote, and recognize educational practices that contribute to the continuous improvement of business education and to accredit business schools and programs that adhere to these teaching and learning practices of excellence. ACBSP exists to provide mission-based accreditation and quality assurance services to four-year and community college business schools and programs throughout the U.S. and the world.

The association remains dedicated to: (1) pursuing those tasks that result in creative approaches to teaching and the use of advanced technology, (2) providing leadership to develop global alliances for improving business curricula throughout the world, (3) implementing and evaluating student outcomes assessment programs necessary to enhance further the quality of business education, and (4) developing new services and activities to support the attainment of the organization's strategic vision and mission.
