Degree Completion

Not all associate degrees require the same number of credits. But along the way, earning a certain number of credit hours toward your degree represents milestones in your academic journey.

In general, earning 15 credit hours means you're one-fourth of the way to finishing your degree. The same is true for 30 and 45 credit hours; generally, you're half and three-fourths of the way, respectively, to completing your associate degree.

When you surpass a credit hour milestone, celebrate. Post it on your Facebook page. Send a tweet to your followers. Tell your friends. However you celebrate, be proud. You are making progress toward the day when you will wear a cap and gown and graduate from Owens! It is one of the many milestones along your journey and well worth the sacrifice and effort.

Keep working toward your degree. You can do it!
