Program admission is selective and requires:
The Program accepts a maximum of 8 students twice each year for Fall and Spring semesters. Students should submit all official applications and transcripts. Completed applications are reviewed three times a year.
Courses within the Baking & Pastry Certificate must be completed within five (5) years from initial entrance into the Program.
All students enrolled in the Program must achieve a "C" grade or higher in each FNH course. Students who obtain a "D" or "F" grade in an FNH course will be dismissed from the Program and may be readmitted only one time on a space available basis.
Applicants who have not met the academic admissions requirements for entrance into the Certificate may take developmental courses as specified by the course of study. Upon successful completion of these courses, the student may reapply for entrance into the Baking & Pastry Certificate. A pre-Baking & Pastry Certificate student may take IST 100 prior to acceptance into the Program.
