Selective Admissions Criteria

Admission to the MRI program is selective. Students must have successfully completed high school or college algebra and chemistry with a "C" or better and have an ACT score on file with the college.

High school students will be evaluated on their:

  • grade point average,
  • the grade point average of their math and science coursework,
  • their ACT score and
  • their ACT subscores in science reasoning and math.

College students are those applicants who have completed 12 or more credit hours of coursework within the program with 4 or more of those hours in math or science. They will be evaluated on their:

  • total number of hours completed within the program,
  • their grade point average,
  • the grade point average of their math and science coursework and
  • their ACT score.

New applicants to the MRI program must be admitted to the college and may take prerequisite and non-clinical courses in preparation for the selective admission application to the MRI program. Students should meet with a health advisor to develop an academic plan that will guide them toward their goals.
