Barbara Seguine has been an occupational therapy practitioner since 1993 and an educator of occupational therapy assistants since 1996. Prior to her coming to Owens Community College in 2005, she was an instructor and the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator at Lourdes College. Her clinical practice includes experience in the areas of long-term care, rehabilitation, and mental health.
Barbara has been involved in local, state, and national professional activities during her years as an occupational therapy practitioner. She currently serves on the Roster of Accreditation Evaluators (RAE) as a team chair for the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). She has served in numerous capacities in the district and state associations. Barbara has received service awards and the 2009 Model Practice Award from the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association, and the 2007 Mentor Award from the University Of Toledo Department Of Occupational Therapy. She has presented at a number of state and local occupational therapy association conferences over the years as well as to a variety of community groups. She currently serves on the University of Toledo Occupational Therapy program advisory board.

Dorothy Crissman has been an occupational therapy practitioner since 2000 and an educator in the field since 2006. She currently practices in the area of mental health and has clinical experience includes areas of mental health, community integration, acute care, rehabilitation, long-term care and home health.
Dorothy is involved in local, state and national professional organizations. She has served as Secretary for the Northwest District of the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association, is an active member of the Ohio Academic Fieldwork Coordinators Consortium and is currently serving as the Mental Health MSG for the state of Ohio. She has presented at state and local occupational therapy conferences and as well as to groups in the community.
