Accreditation

The radiologic technology program is fully accredited at the program level through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (www.jrcert.org). This accreditation requires a detailed, peer-review process to assure ongoing improvement of the program and assessment of student learning.

For students, accreditation assures them that they will be provided with the skills, knowledge and values to competently perform the responsibilities required within the profession.

The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology holds educational programs to very high levels in regards to program effectiveness which is measured by first time credentialing examination pass rates, job placement rates, annual program completion rates, graduate satisfaction and employer satisfaction. This information is available at www.jrcert.org.

The radiography program is also accredited by the Ohio Department of Health.

Anyone who believes the radiologic technology program is in non-compliance with the “STANDARDS” or has questions or concerns should first contact the department chair at (567) 661-7261. Every effort will be made by the department chair to satisfactorily resolve the issue within two weeks of the inquiry.
