Student Learning Outcomes and Program Effectiveness Data

The radiography program systematically collects, reviews and analyzes data and utilizes this information to improve student learning and educational quality. Student learning outcomes have been developed from the program goals and correlate to the mission statement.

Radiography Program Mission Statement

The mission of the radiography program sponsored by Owens Community College is to provide the healthcare community with caring, competent & professional radiographers.

Program Goals & Student Learning Outcomes

Goal 1: Students will be clinically competent.

  • Student Learning Outcomes:

  • Students will select appropriate technical factors.
  • Students will apply procedure management practices.

Goal 2: Students will utilize critical thinking skills in the performance of radiographic procedures.

Goal 3: Students will utilize communication skills with staff technologists.
