As a graduate, you’ll work with expectant parents and families in their homes, helping them understand child development, strengthen parent-child attachment and access essential resources.

Build Strong Communities, One Family at a Time
This marketable associate’s degree will prepare you for a meaningful career supporting children, families and communities. You’ll build foundational knowledge in child development, psychology, family dynamics, social work, multicultural diversity and community resources. You’ll also strengthen communication skills in English, as well as Spanish or ASL.
Bridge theory and practice through real-world scenarios, classroom observation, and a capstone teaching practicum. You’ll also receive comprehensive support through tutoring, advising, and extensive library resources.
