Walt Celley is a founding partner of Celley & Sanderson, LLP and is the recipient of the Ohio Association of Community College's 2012 Distinguished Alumnus Award. Walt is a 1976 graduate of Owens Community College with an associate's degree in agri-business and spent nine years in the grain business before entering law school. After graduating from the University of Toledo College of Law, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable John W. Potter, Judge of the United States District Court. In private practice since 1989, he currently holds appointments as law director for Waterville and Monclova Townships in Lucas County and Perrysburg Township in Wood County. Walt is active in community and civil affairs, including memberships in the Perrysburg Chamber of Commerce and the Perrysburg Rotary Club, where he chairs the STRIVE (Students Taking a Renewed Interest in the Value of Education) committee. He had a fundamental role in establishing the Perrysburg Rotary Service Foundation Endowed Scholarship Fund through the Owens Community College Foundation. Walt enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, finish carpentry and martial arts.
