Human Resource Specialist, The University of Toledo
Carolyn Chapman is a Human Resource Specialist with The University of Toledo. She is responsible for employment and recruiting for various departments on the Health Science Campus. She previously served as Human Resources Manager for Behavioral Connections of Wood County. Carolyn has also worked as Human Resources Assistant, Human Resources Representative and Human Resources and Early Intervention Department Secretary with the Lucas County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. She received a master’s degree in organizational management from Spring Arbor University in 2004 and a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from The University of Toledo in 2002. She is an Owens alumna, receiving an associate degree in applied business/office administration in 1991. A former Board member of the Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio, Carolyn currently facilitates PHR/SPHR certification for the Toledo Area Human Resources Association. She is a member of Mount Pilgrim Church, and enjoys outdoor activities and Middle Eastern dance.
