This degree will involve hands-on training in broadcasting/video production, radio and other media applications.
Students who complete these courses will gain skills in the fundamentals of editing, production, and studio operations as well as audio and video techniques used in multiple broadcasting settings.
An internship will complete this course of study to prepare students for immediate employment in entry-level positions in the field of broadcasting/video production.
Students interested in broadcasting/video production will have the opportunity to take courses in Broadcast Operations/Careers, Broadcast Audio, Writing for Media, TV Production, Radio and Visual Storytelling. These courses will help students create a professional body of work that will showcase their application of skills for potential employers.
