April is National Community College Month

Owens Community College is proud to celebrate Community College Month!

Community College Month acknowledges the contributions community colleges make across the country in educating and training students for the future.

Community colleges provide enhanced educational opportunities, create greater access to higher education, and strengthen economic development initiatives in the Northwest Ohio region, the state of Ohio, and nationwide. During this month, we recognize the important role that Owens Community College and other community colleges play in educating students and contributing to economic development in the community.

We would like to express appreciation to the faculty and staff of Owens Community College for their hard work and dedication to our students and our communities, as well as the many community partners who assist us every day in achieving the goals outlined in our mission and vision statements.
