Owens Celebrates Community College Month

Owens Community College is proud to celebrate April as National Community College Month!

Community College Month commemorates the contributions community colleges have made across the country in educating and training students for the future.

Community colleges provide enhanced educational opportunities, create greater access to higher education, and strengthen economic development initiatives in the Northwest Ohio region, the state of Ohio and nationwide. During this month, we would like to recognize the important role that Owens Community College and other community colleges play in educating students and contributing to economic development in the community.

We would also like to express our appreciation to the faculty and staff of Owens Community College for their hard work and dedication to our students and our communities, as well as the many community partners who daily assist the College in realizing the goals outlined in our mission and vision statements.

Join us as we celebrate our contributions to the community and our 50th anniversary!
