ARB 111 - Beginning Arabic I
Introduction to the language and cultures of the Arabic-speaking world. Development of elementary communicative skills with a balanced emphasis on speaking, listening, reading and writing. Presentation of local dialects and of the cultural impact of Arabic language, arts, and sciences on modern civilizations. Laboratory work may be required.
