BIO 201 - General Biology I
The first of a two-semester curriculum designed for students planning to major in Biology. The first semester includes introductions to animal and plant cell structure and function, biochemistry and metabolism, Mendelian and molecular genetics, and evolution. (Can fulfill Sciences requirements for Arts and Sciences degree programs.) Students retaking this course must repeat both the lab and lecture. (Lecture offered as a web course but lab must be taken on campus). This course is not recommended for students in developmental reading.
Co-requisite: NONE
Prerequisite: CHM 095 or equivalent.
