CIM 102 - Intro to Cancer Info Mgmt
Introduction to the fundamental theories and practices of cancer information management. Topics include composition of the medical record, secondary data sources, healthcare delivery systems, quality management/improvement and reimbursement. Emphasis is placed on the electronic environment in cancer information management, ethical and legal issues and health information privacy and security.
Co-requisite: CIM 100, CIM 125
Prerequisite: Admittance into the CIM Associate Degree or as Pre-req admittance to CIM Certificate
