CIM 201 - Abstracting Prin & Practices I
Introduction to the fundamentals of cancer registry abstracting. Assessment of pertinent clinical site-specific information regarding cancer diagnosis, extent of disease and treatment will be identified, coded and recorded utilizing the accepted standards of data collection. Student will become familiar with medical records layout and sources of clinical information.
Co-requisite: CIM 101, CIM 125, CIM 150
