CIM 275 - Clinical Applications
Semester long clinical practice experience in a working cancer registry for hands-on experience and instructions in all facets of cancer registry operations and activities. Experience will include but not be limited to all aspects of data collection, coding and abstracting of cancer data, exposure to cancer committee functions, cancer conference, follow-up processes, quality assessment of cancer registry date and quality assurance activities for the healthcare organization. The clinical practice experience will be supervised by a certified cancer registrar.
