DMS 100 - Diagnostic Sonography I
An overview of the ultrasound profession which will look at the history of ultrasound and the role sonography plays in the diagnosis of health problems. Topics will include sonographic terminology, instrumentation, patient positioning, image characteristics, scan planes, image labeling, taking a patient history, career options and professional societies.
