ECE 100 - Intro Early Childhood Educ
Provides information concerning types of early childhood programs and developmentally appropriate practices employed by ECE professionals in the field. Examines career opportunities and reviews the history of the early childhood movement, ethical standards and professional practices including advocacy. Contemporary issues relating to children and families and the field of education are discussed. This class is open to all students. Includes a 5 hour community service component. Course waived for CDA I students.
