HIT 200 - Medical Specialties & Editing
This course provides the student with exposure to the various types of reports across every major medical specialty transcribed as a medical transcriptionist. It prepares the student for specialty-specific information including terminology, abbreviations, types of reports and document formatting. The student will review editing and proofreading problem areas.
Co-requisite: HIT 210, HIT 220
Prerequisite: HIT 110, HIT 120, HIT 130, HIT 140, HIT 150
