HIT 237 - Health Care Information System
A comprehensive review of the electronic health record and its applications in Health Information Management. A review of hardware components, systems architectures, operating systems, and software packages and tools, along with the use of the electronic health record are explored. Health Information Management processes with data, information and file structures, as well as data storage, retrieval, privacy and security are addressed.
