IST 241 - Linux Essentials
Introduces the student to the Linux platform, the many distribution options, and the key elements required to customize a distribution. Students will be shown essential commands, best practices and processes to manage Linux systems. Desktop and Server versions will be introduced and hands-on activities will enhance the learning experience. Linux as a platform for troubleshooting and Linux tools will also be discussed and students will have opportunities to apply the concepts and tools to a live environment.
