MAS 240 - Business Law & Ethics for MT
This course provides an overview of the legal system. An in depth review of the statutes and administrative rules that govern massage therapy in Ohio will be provided. This course will also cover professional practice in health care including roles of the massage therapy practitioner, relationships with other health care providers, privacy and confidentiality, ethical standards, the concepts of liability, malpractice and negligence, insurance reimbursement and taxes. This course will also overview resume writing and business plans.
