NRS 227 - Mat & Neonatal Health Issues
The student uses personal, empirical, ethical and aesthetic patterns of knowing from nursing and related disciplines in the care of the developing family with an emphasis on the maternal/neonatal population. Communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills are used in a problem-solving model. Clinical laboratory and reflection time are planned to provide the student the opportunity to use caring concepts in the delivery of patient care.
Co-requisite: BIO 231, ENG 112, SPE 101 or SPE 102 or SPE 210, and MTH 213
Prerequisite: NRS 223 or NRS 224, NRS 225, NRS 230
