Registration

There are multiple ways for Current Students to register at Owens:

  1. Ozone - If you know which classes you want to take and the prerequisites are met, you can register online without seeing an advisor.

    • Students who are on Academic Probation or who have a Hold on their account cannot web register. You can find out if you are on Academic Probation or if you have a Hold through your Ozone account. If you have a Hold, you must get it cleared through the Bursar's office in order to register.
    • If you are on Academic Probation of any level, you must see an advisor prior to registering. You will not be able to register on Ozone.
    • If you have been academically dismissed, you are required to "sit out" at least one full (16-week) semester. Sitting out means you are not eligible to enroll in any classes. Following that, you may make an appointment to meet with the Director of Academic Enhancement and Counseling as the first step in the process of readmission.
  2. Student Development - Students who are unsure on which classes to take and wish to speak with an advisor may do so in the Student Development office. An advisor can help you choose classes appropriate for your major and help you decide how many classes to take. All Students must register for coursed via Ozone.

If you are on Academic Probation of any level, you must meet with an advisor prior to registering.
