The Owens Community College Create Arts and Media present Theatre Express on Saturday, September 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts.
Actors will have a short meeting on September 27 to have a photo taken. Playwrights will create a 10-minute play for the actors they have been assigned. Rehearsals will be throughout the day Saturday before the live performance.

The School of Nursing and Health Professions will be hosting a Medical Imaging & Surgical Technology Networking Event from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday, October 3 in the Math/Science Center Hallway. This event aims to connect potential employers with Owens students, alumni and the wider public associated with the Medical Imaging and Surgical Technology programs or practice.

Watch and discuss “Sound of Metal” with themes revolving around Deaf Culture. A live discussion will be held with Emmah Artino, instructor of American Sign Language.
The Cleveland Celtic Ensemble will host a workshop and concert on Thursday, October 3 in the Mainstage Theatre in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts.
The workshop begins at 3:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m. They are partially sponsored by a grant from the Ohio Arts Council.
The Cleveland Celtic Ensemble features a blending of Scottish and Irish bagpipes, whistle, flute, fiddle, harp, and dance, creating an intimate, ethereal chamber music setting.
The evening is the first concert in the 9th Annual Accent on the Arts concert series.
Take some time to unwind – join the Student Life Office on the first Monday of each month for free popcorn and a movie chosen by student votes! The theme for this matinee will be Frightful Flicks.
