Register now for our Owens Interpreter Hub, an American Sign Language networking fair and workshop from 12-2 p.m. Friday, April 18, in Veterans Hall 201. Come mingle with fellow or aspiring ASL interpreters and meet representatives from area agencies that serve the Deaf and hard of hearing.
Current ASL interpreters are also invited to attend a professional workshop, “Making Heads or Tails Out of Interpreting Idioms” from 2-4 p.m. in Founders Hall 1010.

Spring Fling will be on Wednesday, April 23, between 11 a.m.-2 p.m. between College and Heritage halls on the Toledo-area Campus.
Amber Caldeira, assistant dean of law admissions for the University of Toledo’s College of Law, visit to Owens Community College has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 23 to provide information on the university’s application process and available scholarships for law students.
The event will be at 11 a.m. in College Hall 161. Mrs. Caldeira’s presentation will be recorded so Owens students and staff who cannot attend in-person may still learn about attending law school.
The Music Business Technology students will present world-renowned, viral-hammered dulcimer sensation Ted Yoder for the final concert of the 9th annual Accent on the Arts series on Wednesday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts. Yoder will be joined by Andre Gaskins on cello and Zulya Bashirova on violin.
Accent on the Arts is a free concert series designed, booked, promoted and presented by Music Business Technology students.
