Spring Fling: Toledo-area Campus

Spring Fling will be on Wednesday, April 23, between 11 a.m.-2 p.m. between College and Heritage halls on the Toledo-area Campus.

University of Toledo College of Law Informational Presentation @ College Hall 161

Amber Caldeira, assistant dean of law admissions for the University of Toledo’s College of Law, visit to Owens Community College has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 23 to provide information on the university’s application process and available scholarships for law students.

The event will be at 11 a.m. in College Hall 161. Mrs. Caldeira’s presentation will be recorded so Owens students and staff who cannot attend in-person may still learn about attending law school.

Ted Yoder: Accent on the Arts Series @ Center for Fine and Performing Arts

The Music Business Technology students will present world-renowned, viral-hammered dulcimer sensation Ted Yoder for the final concert of the 9th annual Accent on the Arts series on Wednesday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts. Yoder will be joined by Andre Gaskins on cello and Zulya Bashirova on violin.

Accent on the Arts is a free concert series designed, booked, promoted and presented by Music Business Technology students.

The BIG Read Author Visit: Toledo-area Campus @ Center for Fine and Performing Arts

Join The BIG Read on Thursday, April 24, for a visit from Sara Nović, author of the 2024-25 The BIG Read book “True Biz.” Nović will discuss her book and sign copies afterwards.

The discussion will be at 10 a.m. in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts theater on the Toledo-area Campus, and at 3:30 p.m. in Education Center 111 on the Findlay-area Campus.
