Join us for book club and a start-up BIG Read Workshop. Even if you can only attend part of the event, please join us when you can to learn how you and your office can get involved in the discussion.
We will be discussing chapters 2 & 9–“Songs Without Words” & “The Worry Line.” (Since this is a collection of essays, you don’t have to read the book in order, and even if you can only read one or none of the chapters, come anyway, as there is so much to learn.)
In addition to the chapters we will examine, there will also be a discussion the year’s events, as well as specific detailed activities for your classroom, your work with students, and your offices.
Cory Hoover, Professor of English, and Adam Wagner, Lead Advisor for the School of Liberal Arts, will be presenting activities, as well as others.
The 21st Annual Owens Foundation Golf Classic will take place on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Belmont Country Club.
