merican landscape painter and a former potter and metalsmith. Jules approa
ches two-dimensional painting with a strong materials-based sensibility. S
he is an educator\, entrepreneur\, community arts advocate\, art materials
expert and the owner/founder of The Art Supply Depo. With two locations l
ocated in Sylvania and Bowling Green\, The Art Supply Depo provides high q
uality art materials\, employment opportunity\, exhibitions and educationa
l workshops for adults and teens.\n“The works in this exhibition are Super
Natural\, presenting garden\, forest and floral still-lifes that depict i
dealized\, dreamlike environments. Meticulously arranged natural elements
are depicted in expressive color to evoke a sense of serenity and awe. In
a complicated world\, my work provides a moment of pause. As environments
for appreciating wonder and enjoying privacy increasingly disappear\, I se
ek to preserve and recreate solitude. The work transports viewers to tranq
uil spaces free of worry and concern – renewing a sense of calm – and conn
