Just complete a free application for admission. Apply online. If you don't have a computer, visit the Learning Center to use one of the student terminals.
Take the COMPASS Test at the Learning Center at The Source. It's free and will assess your skills. Get your scores immediately and an advisor will be able to match you to the appropriate classes.
You must have a GED before enrolling. Financial aid eligibility depends on your COMPASS placement test scores. For GED completion information, please call (567) 661-7160 or (567) 661-7161. Owens offers the GED prep classes at several locations throughout Lucas County.
A limited number of courses will be offered at the Learning Center at The Source. You may have to take some of your classes at the main campus. Check with your advisor for more information.
Free TARTA bus service is available to students from downtown Toledo. The bus stop is on Huron between Jackson and Adams streets (around the corner from TARTA's government station) and at the Learning Center at The Source on 13th Street between Monroe and Washington streets.
