Owens' Advanced Photography Class Presents "Silent Voices" Exhibit

  The advanced fine art photography class at Owens Community College is presenting the "Silent Voices" exhibit of their outstanding artwork May 9-19 at the Toledo-area Campus, Oregon Road.

  The exhibit will open with a special reception from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 9 in the Audio/Visual Classroom Center Galleria. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Black Swamp String Band and refreshments will be served.

  The exhibit is free and open to the public.

  Kim NaVarre is the instructor for the advanced fine art photography class. The students in the class who will be exhibiting their photography are: Mary Baumgardner of Weston; Jennifer Givens of Rossford; Melissa Harding of McClure; Rebekah Merritt and Tina Krohn both of Sylvania; and Deborah Morin, Teresa Altaffer, Karen Kaufman, Jaclyn Beaverson, Timothy Broud and Kevin Kubiak, all of Toledo.
