Owens Community College Drama Club Presents Fall Play


The Owens Community College Drama Club is presenting the play, Lady Windermere's Fan: A Play About a Good Woman, Friday and Saturday, December 1 and 2.

The play, starring Owens students, faculty and staff, is at 2 and 7 p.m. on Friday and at 7 p.m. Saturday in College Hall Room 100 on the Toledo-area Campus, Oregon Road.

Lady Windermere's Fan, a comedy written by Oscar Wilde, is a clever, witty comedy of manners that explores how men and women in Victorian England dealt with matters of love, infidelity, goodness and corruption. Owens drama instructor D'Arcy Orde is the play's director.

The cast list includes:
    Lord Windermere played by John Devine of Toledo,
    Lady Windermere played by Candace Land of Northwood,
    Lord Darlington played by Ted Faneuff of Stony Ridge,
    Mrs. Erlynne played by Kamia Topel of Swanton,
    Lord Augustus played by Matthew Mechior of Perrysburg,
    Mr. Cecil Graham played by Margaret Dewberry-Brown of Maumee,
    Mr. Dumby played by James Van Etten of Holland,
    Mr. Hopper played by Tim Best of Genoa,
    Parker played by Justin Shultz of Maumee,
    Duchess of Berwick played by Michelle McGarity of Toledo,
    Lady Agatha played by Melissa White of Maumee,
    Lady Plymdale played by Rebecca Scott of Sylvania,
    Rosalie played by Jenny Strock of Point Place.
