Owens Community College Hosts "SuccessFest"

Anyone interested in taking college classes or starting a new career is invited to "SuccessFest" Tuesday and Wednesday, May 1 and 2 at Owens Community College.

Free career counseling and assessment testing will be offered, along with advising and registration for Summer and Fall classes.

All new students who register for Summer and Fall classes at SuccessFest will receive a free parking permit for the semester.

SuccessFest will be 8 a.m. 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 1 and 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 at the Toledo-area and Findlay campuses.

With the lowest tuition of any state college or university in Northwest Ohio, Owens Community College offers personal attention and small classes during the day, in the evening and on the weekend.

Owens Community College serves nearly 17,000 students on its Toledo-area and Findlay campuses, offering over 100 career-oriented degrees and certificates in Agriculture, Business, Health, Public Service, Industrial and Engineering Technologies. Students also can earn the first two years of a bachelor's degree and then transfer to many area colleges and universities, such as The Ohio State University, University of Michigan, Bowling Green State University, University of Toledo, Lourdes College and more.
