"College for Kids" Offered this Summer at Owens Community College

Your Success Starts Here Youth ages 9 through 17 looking for something fun to do this summer are invited to participate in the "College for Kids" program at Owens Community College.

"College for Kids" features computer classes, sign language, arts and crafts, cheerleading and sports instruction.

"College for Kids" will be offered in July through the College's Center for Development and Training (CDT). Most fees for these short-term classes range from $6 to $110. No classes are graded.

"These classes provide exciting opportunities for kids to explore new ideas, stretch their imaginations and cultivate special interests during the summertime," said Linda Stacy, interim executive director of economic and workforce development at CDT.
