FINDLAY - Anyone interested in taking college classes or starting a new career is invited to "SuccessFest" Thursday, August 2 at the Owens Community College Findlay Campus.
Free career counseling and assessment testing will be offered, along with advising and registration for Fall classes, according to Dr. Paul Brown, Dean of the Findlay Campus.
All new students who register for Fall classes at SuccessFest will receive a free parking permit for the semester. Free Dietsch's ice cream and Owens T-shirts also will be available.
SuccessFest will be 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. The Owens Findlay Campus is located at the corner of Cory and Davis streets.
In addition, Owens is offering a SmartStart Orientation for new students at 5 p.m. Thursday, August 9 or 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Augest 14 in Room 102 at the Findlay Campus. Students will have the opportunity to learn about time management, academic skills and transfer services, as well as obtaining helpful information on Financial Aid, Disability Services, Academic Advising, the Counseling Center and more.
