Owens Welcomes Thousands of Students Monday for Fall Semester

Your Success Starts Here The first day of Fall Semester is Monday, August 27 at the Owens Community College Findlay Campus with another record number of students expected.

This fall, enrollment at Owens Community College will exceed 17,000 students on the Toledo-area and Findlay campuses. Fall enrollment will surpass 2,000 students on the Findlay Campus.

The 2001-2002 academic year marks the beginning of Dr. Christa Adams' term as the fourth president in the 37-year history of the College.

Groundbreaking ceremonies and site work will begin this fall on a $10 million Center for Fine & Performing Arts on the Toledo-area Campus.

Owens students also can take advantage of the TARTA bus service connecting Downtown Toledo and the Oregon Road campus. Students can ride for free by showing an Owens ID card.

The College did not raise tuition this fall and maintained its tuition rate of $75 per credit hour, or $900 per semester for a full-time student. This is the lowest tuition of any college or university in Northwest Ohio.
