Free GED Orientation Offered at Owens Community College

Your Success Starts Here Are you considering enhancing your basic skills in English, math or employment skills? Sign up today for a free GED orientation at Owens Community College.

Offered free of charge, the orientation is at Owens Community College's Center for Development and Training (CDT), 2249 Tracy Road, Northwood.

Experienced teachers will provide a friendly, adult classroom atmosphere with small classes and personal attention. The four-hour orientation meets 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday, September 8.

All students must attend the orientation meeting to register for classes. The regular GED class will meet on the same days and times as the orientation.

Students who pass the GED pre-test offered by Owens will receive a voucher to take the GED test for free saving $42.

The GED program is funded by the Ohio Department of Education through the Adult Basic and Literacy Education Programs (ABLE).
