Free GED Orientation Offered at Owens Findlay CDT

Your Success Starts Here Are you considering enhancing your basic skills in English, math or employment skills? Sign up today for a free GED orientation at the Owens Community College's Center for Development and Training (CDT), 1200 Commerce Parkway, Findlay.

Experienced teachers will provide a friendly, adult classroom atmosphere with small classes and personal attention. The six three-hour orientations will be Tuesday, October 16 and Thursday, October 18 from 6-9 p.m. Orientations also will be Monday, October 29 and Wednesday, October 31 at two different times. The morning session is 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The evening session is 6-9 p.m.

All students must attend the orientation meeting to register for classes.

Students who pass the GED pre-test offered by Owens will receive a voucher to take the GED test for free, saving $42.

The GED program is funded by the Ohio Department of Education through the Adult Basic and Literacy Education Programs.
