Owens Community College Students to Perform Holiday Concert, Friday, December 14

Your Success Starts Here

Come listen to some of your favorite holiday music as the Owens Community College student chorus hosts a Holiday Concert, Friday, December 14 from 8-9 p.m. in College Hall Room 100 on the Owens Toledo-area Campus, Oregon Road.

Free and open to the public, the event will feature a variety of holiday songs, including "Carol of the Bells", "Sheep May Safely Graze" and "Hallelujah Amen" performed by Owens students and members of the community.

Led by Owens choir director, Lucyanne Georger, the students are members of the MUS 102, Owens Community College Singers class. Offered during the Fall and Spring Semesters at Owens, the course provides students with the opportunity to perform in a large, mixed gender chorus. Students are taught a wide range of choral literature, while also learning the rudiments of vocal production and musicianship.
