Are you considering enhancing your basic skills in English, math or employment skills? Sign up today for a free GED orientation at the Owens Community College's Center for Development and Training (CDT), 1200 Commerce Parkway, Findlay.
Experienced teachers will provide a friendly, adult classroom atmosphere with small classes and personal attention. The six three-hour orientations will be Tuesday, January 8 and Thursday, January 10 from 6-9 p.m. Orientations also will be Monday, January 7 and Wednesday, January 9 at two different times. The morning session is 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The evening session is 6-9 p.m.
All students must attend two three-hour orientation meetings to register for classes. The GED classes will be held Monday-Tuesday, January 14-15.
Students who pass the GED pre-test offered by Owens will receive a voucher to take the GED test for free, saving $42.
The GED program is funded by the Ohio Department of Education through the Adult Basic and Literacy Education Programs.
