Owens Community College Announces Fall Academic Honors

More than 4,000 students have been named to the Academic Honors List at Owens Community College for the Fall Semester 2001. Students must achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average to be eligible for academic honors. Owens Community College uses a 4.0 scale in grading.

Owens Community College is a two-year institution of higher education that offers more than 100 career-oriented programs and majors in Agriculture, Business, Health, Public Service, Skilled Trades, Industrial and Engineering Technologies. Owens students also can earn the first two years of a bachelor's degree and then transfer directly to a four-year college or university.
