Owens Community College Findlay Campus Hosts "Registration Rocks!"

FINDLAY- Area high school seniors are invited to a fun and informative college information day, "Registration Rocks!" at the Owens Community College Findlay Campus. Last year's event drew more than 500 students.

Seniors, who must RSVP for this event, can sign up for any day of "Registration Rocks!" April 1-4 or April 8-11 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. "Registration Rocks!" will be held at the Owens Findlay Campus, Cory and Davis streets.

"Students will have the opportunity to meet faculty members and take the college placement test," said Dr. Bill Ivoska, Owens Director of Admissions. "They'll also make new friends from other schools and register for summer and fall classes."

Parents also are welcome at "Registration Rocks!" to attend a separate program on learning to support your children in college.

A free lunch will be provided. Seniors will have the opportunity to win various raffle prizes throughout each day, including CDs and Owens baseball caps, T-shirts, sweatshirts and more.

"Last year's event was a huge success," Ivoska said. " We encourage any senior interested in attending to RSVP to be part of one of these exciting 'Registration Rocks!' days."
