If you ever considered a career in law enforcement, this is your opportunity
to register for the Basic Peace Officer Training Program at Owens Community
Students at the Owens police academy take classes in patrol operations, firearms, defensive tactics and criminal investigation using modern, high-tech police equipment. Students receive expert instruction from local police officers, sheriff's deputies and corrections officers, as well as state and federal agents.
