Free GED Orientation Offered at Owens Workforce and Community Services Division

at Owens Community College.
Offered free of charge, the orientation is at Owens Community College's Workforce and Community Services Division, 2249 Tracy Road, Northwood.
Experienced teachers will provide a friendly, adult classroom atmosphere with small classes and personal attention. The orientation will be Saturday, September 7 from 12-3 p.m.
All students must attend the orientation meeting to register for classes. The regular GED classes will meet on Saturdays, September 14 - November 16. The first class is from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. A second course is offered from 12-3 p.m.
Students who pass the GED practice test offered by Owens will receive a voucher to take the GED test for free, saving $55.
The GED program is funded by the Ohio Department of Education through the Adult Basic and Literacy Education Programs (ABLE).
