Interested student-athletes are invited to the open tryouts for the Owens Community College women's basketball team 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Sunday, June 9 at the Student Health and Activities Center (SHAC) on the Toledo-area Campus, which is on Oregon Road located four miles from Downtown Toledo.
The Express finished the 2001-2002 season with a 22-11 overall record and look to improve upon a third place finish within the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC). Led by second-year Head Coach Mark Henry, the women's program finished runner-up in the OCCAC postseason tournament and reached the semifinals of the NJCAA Region XII tournament.
