EnterpriseOhio Network Establishes Statewide Marketing Resource Center at Owens Findlay-area Campus

FINDLAY - Owens Community College Findlay-area Campus has been chosen by the Ohio Board of Regents to operate the statewide EnterpriseOhio Network Marketing Resource Center dedicated to enhancing awareness of educational training and development services available to business and industry at Ohio's two- year academic institutions.

The Marketing Resource Center was awarded $159,000 in grant funding from the Ohio Board of Regents to implement a Marketing Support Plan through the EnterpriseOhio Network. The support plan will feature a wide range of new project endeavors designed to heighten marketing of various workforce development services.

"Owens Community College is honored to welcome the Marketing Resource Center to the Findlay-area Campus," said Judy Ennis, Owens Executive Dean of the Findlay-area Campus. "The opportunity to serve as the Marketing Resource Center for the EnterpriseOhio Network demonstrates the College's responsiveness to playing a critical role in the future of business and industry training."

Sponsored by the Ohio Board of Regents, the EnterpriseOhio Network was established in 1986 to advance Ohio's economic growth by expanding the capability and utilization of two-year community and technical colleges and university branch campuses to meet the needs of area workforce development.

There are currently 53 academic institutions statewide comprising the EnterpriseOhio Network. The overall mission of the EnterpriseOhio Network two- year campuses is to function as key components of the state's economic development infrastructure by partnering with private and public enterprises and government agencies across Ohio. Such partnerships are focused on improving quality, productivity and competitive abilities through employee training and development.

Coordinator of the EnterpriseOhio Network Marketing Resource, Marsha Kujawa will oversee the functions of the Marketing Resource Center and operate out of the Owens Findlay-area Campus.
