Owens Workforce and Community Services Offers Landscape Design Enrichment Class, April 28

Whatever the color of your thumb, learn the tips and tricks to ensure continuous beauty of your landscape as Owens Community College offers a Landscape Design enrichment class on Thursday, April 28.

The Landscape Design course will occur from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the College's Workforce and Community Services, located on Tracy Road in Northwood.

"Learning how to properly care for perennials, bulbs and ornamental grasses can add radiant color to any landscape," said Jay Brewster, Owens Instructor for the Landscape Design enrichment class and a Registered Landscape Architect. "This course will show you how to enjoy continuous color schemes year round."

Brewster added, "Design principles and elements also will be covered to stylize your landscape."

Additionally, course content will include material and instruction related to the selection, care, culture and maintenance of a multitude of trees and shrubs.
