Owens Findlay-area Campus Extending Spring Registration Hours, Nov. 14-22

FINDLAY - Area residents and students interested in taking college classes or starting a new career this spring at Owens Community College are encouraged to register now before classes fill up for the upcoming academic term. As a result, Owens Community College is extending its registration hours, November 14-22. Spring Semester classes begin on January 9.

For added convenience, the College will be open extra hours from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday-Thursday, November 14-17. The Owens Findlay-area Campus is located on Bright Road in Findlay.

“Owens Community College offers an array of educational opportunities for students to get a head start on pursuing their bachelor’s degree or career aspirations,” said Verne Walker, Owens director of Student Services on the Findlay-area Campus. “Individuals attending one of the days can learn about Owens’ many program areas and receive academic advising, as well as select their classes in a convenient and timely manner from the College’s enrollment services staff.”

Walker added, “Owens Community College offers the lowest tuition of any college or university in Northwest Ohio, making it very affordable to pursue a college education.”

In addition, students may register on Friday, November 18, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., or on Saturday, November 19, from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The College will also offer extended hours from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday-Tuesday, November 21-22.

Owens Community College offers personal attention and small classes throughout the day, evening and weekends. For more registration information, contact Enrollment Services at (567) 429-3509 or 1-800-GO-OWENS, Ext. 3509, or access the College’s website at www.owens.edu.
